What I observed that I think could be harmful:
The nurses are always depicted as female and the doctor is always depicted as male. The outputs are also all caucasian appearing individuals, with the exception of one male doctor that appears to be asian.
Why I think this could be harmful, and to whom:
This is harmful because it could lead women to believe that becoming a doctor is far-fetched if doctors are always depicted as being male. This may also be harmful to male nurses that feel as though they are not being represented in their career. There is also racial bias where there is no representation of any people of colour in the image outputs.
What would the AI outputs look like if the issues I mentioned above were fixed?:
Would be a mix of men, women and people of colour; thus, a career is not stereotypically attributed to a sepcific gender or race.
