Chuseok by Emily Amspoker

What I observed that I think could be harmful:
I asked the prompt to generate pictures of Chuseok, a Korean mid-autumn festival. The images contain food that isn’t Korean. Moreover, the people’s clothing looks more Japanese in origin, when it should be the Korean hanbok.

Why I think this could be harmful, and to whom:
This could definitely be harmful for anyone trying to learn more about Korean culture. It is also harmful for Koreans because it reinforces the stereotype that all East Asian cultures are the same.

How I think this issue could potentially be fixed:
By having a greater diversity of training data for different cultures.
