I observed that all generated images for “Barbie” depict dolls that are white with blonde hair.
Why I think this could be harmful, and to whom:
This is a harmful stereotype and bias regarding beauty standards and racial representation. By exclusively featuring white Barbie dolls with blonde hair, these generated images contribute to the reinforcement of narrow and unrealistic beauty ideals. Also, this is a misinformation because in real world barbie dolls are inclusive and contain all races.
